Funerary stele found in Tell Safa

Classical Periods

We have discovered numerous Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine sites. The site of Tell Safa must have been an important classical settlement. A funerary stele and an inscription were found there.

On the western side of Tell Marj, the electrical tomography detected architectonic structures.

At Tell Rabieh we found the remains of a classical necropolis.
