Decorated pebble from Jeftelik

Epipalaeolithic

We have found two Epipalaeolithic sites with Natufian industries: Jeftelik and Wadi Chbat, to the north of the Bouqaia Basin.

Test excavations were undertaken at Jeftelik in 2008. The finds included a half-buried hut, a significant chipped stone assemblage, with a predominance of segments and endscrapers, and several decorated objects.
