Megalithism

Numerous megalithic necropolis dated in the Bronze Age have been documented. These are groups of tumuli, some of which have clearly visible funerary chambers. Located on hilltops, these sites form groups with only a few tumuli or with tens of monuments.

To the north of Lake Qattina we have located a large area with thousands of funerary monuments. We suppose that these are the cemeteries of the Bronze Age settlements situated along the Orontes Valley
